Nature of Services
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art as its primary mode of expression.
Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological diagnosis and treatment.
The therapy process is client-led, and the therapist respects your choices and voice throughout the process.
Bookings and Payments
Booking: All sessions must be booked in advance via the website or direct contact.
Payments: Payment is required before or at the time of the booking to secure your session.
Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24–48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions canceled within this window may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your privacy is our priority. All personal information and clinical notes are stored securely and kept confidential in accordance with relevant health privacy laws.
Online Sessions: For telehealth sessions, both parties are responsible for ensuring a private, secure environment to maintain confidentiality.
Note: Client art created during sessions remains the physical property of the client, while digital images/documentation are stored in the client’s file.
Intellectual Property
All written content and mandala paintings on this website are the intellectual property of Kintsugi Art Therapy and are protected by copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Kintsugi Art Therapy is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or website.
Art therapy requires emotional engagement, and while it aims to provide therapeutic benefits, outcomes vary for every individual.
